The Trust is responsible for managing one of Norfolk's most beautiful and much loved Country Parks, Whitlingham Country Park.
Located just outside the fine city of Norwich, Whitlingham Country Park includes 35 hectares of stunning open parkland and water and provides a gateway to the Broads.
From the tranquil broad with its wildlife and opportunities for sailing to the surrounding woods and pastures, the Park is an extraordinary place to relax, recuperate and exercise.
Parking at Whitlingham
The car parks at Whitlingham are run on behalf of Whitlingham Charitable Trust by Park with Ease and ANPR cameras observe your entry and exit times. This is not a standard pay and display car park.
Although charges apply to all car park users there is a 15 minute grace for customers of Whitlingham Outdoor Education Centre to drop and pick up participants before payment is due.
If you stay longer than 15 minutes from the moment you entered the car park you must pay for the full amount of time spent in the car park otherwise a Parking Charge Notice of up to £50 will be issued. For methods of payment and further information please see the notices by the parking machines. You can pay for your total length of stay at any time before you leave the car park.
Please note - The car parks are provided by Whitlingham Charitable Trust and all funds received go towards the upkeep of the park.

If you are a frequent user of the Park you might wish to consider purchase of an annual permit, which is great value and saves the hassle of making individual payments.
The Park is open all year round. The Broads Authority Visitor Centre is open seven days a week from 11am to 4pm from November until Easter and 10am to 4pm the rest of the year, extending to 5pm during local school summer holidays. The Barn Cafe is open from 10am to 4pm in winter and 9am to 5pm in the summer months.

How to get there
Take the A146 towards Norwich, turn right at the ring road, then turn right at the roundabout towards Trowse. Shortly afterwards turn left down Whitlingham Lane. There is a boat service from Norwich yacht station in summer and moorings on the river Yare.
Buses go from Norwich to Trowse, then there is a 25 minute walk along Whitlingham Lane to the park.
The park is accessible by Public Transport : 2 miles (3.2 kms) from Norwich station.
