Walking and jogging
Whitlingham Country Park is a favourite amongst both city dwellers and countryside enthusiasts alike, offering a tranquil location to get away from it all. With ample parking and refreshments onsite, cycling is another great activity that can be enjoyed at the park. Cycles are welcome on the paths at the park, including around the Great Broad. Furthermore, National Cycle Route 1 runs right through the park down Whitlingham Lane, past the wooded area.
Thanks to the Whitlingham Adventure centre on-site, visitors to the park can enjoy a range of exciting water-sports including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and, one of the most popular new sports, stand up paddleboarding.
